Kayiwa Godwin
Kayiwa Godwin is a dedicated human rights activist, mental health advocate, and community paralegal with extensive experience working with key and vulnerable populations in Uganda. They currently serve as a board member, bringing valuable insight and leadership to advance the organization’s mission.
Godwin is the Executive Director of Mind and Harmony Wellness Foundation, where they lead initiatives focused on mental health support, psychosocial care, and community empowerment. They are also a trained counselor and psychological first aider, committed to promoting mental well-being and resilience among marginalized communities.
With a strong background in HIV prevention, gender-based violence response, and community engagement, they have worked closely with key populations and other at-risk groups to improve access to health services and reduce stigma and discrimination.
Passionate about social justice and inclusion, they continue to advocate for equitable access to healthcare, protection of human rights, and sustainable community-led solutions across Uganda.
